At the heart of our organizational framework is the unwavering guidance and political wisdom of President Asif Ali Zardari, Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party and the visionary leader who steered PPP through one of the most challenging chapters in its history.
Following the martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in 2007, President Zardari not only safeguarded the unity of the party but also strategically revived its democratic mission across Pakistan. He placed special emphasis on youth inclusion and political continuity, recognizing that the strength of the PPP has always come from its ideological roots and its vibrant youth base.
It was under President Zardari’s leadership that the Peoples Youth Organization was restructured and revitalized across the provinces, with a renewed focus on training young political workers, promoting internal democracy, and preparing future custodians of the Bhutto legacy. His commitment to youth empowerment remains one of the defining features of his political career — ensuring that young people are not just participants, but decision-makers and torchbearers in the democratic process.

In 2022, the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, proudly announced the appointment of Mohsan Hassan Malhi as the President of the Peoples Youth Organization (PYO) Central Punjab.
A dedicated and long-serving member of the PPP, Mohsan Hassan Malhi has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to the party’s mission and values. His journey within the party reflects a deep passion for public service and grassroots activism.
Under his leadership, the PYO Central Punjab is expected to grow stronger, more united, and increasingly active in promoting the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
